Forum Videos

I am doing my best to make as much information available to voters as I can.  Not just information about me (you can see that at all of my other pages), but about all candidates for Mayor and Council.  The following links will give you the opportunity to compare and contrast each of us under the same circumstances.  I hope that you find it useful.

The Chamber of Commerce hosted a Candidates Forum at the City/County Library on Tuesday, 23 September 2014.  Although it was primarily for Chamber members, it was open to the public.  I did not realize that it was being videotaped, but I am glad that it was and that the Chamber made it available for voters to see.

They split each question into a separate video, and each candidate had the opportunity to be the first (or the last) to answer a question.  The following link will take you to the Chamber's videos:

The League of Women Voters hosted their Candidates Forum at the City Hall on Thursday, 25 September 2014.  It was open to the public and was televised live on Charter's channel 20.

It is a continuous video that runs 90+ minutes.  Here again, each candidate had the opportunity to be the first or last to answer questions.  Once again, the following link will take you to the League's video:

A local neighborhood organization, Residents for Quality Neighborhoods, usually hosts its own Candidates Forum, but for a variety of reasons could not this year.  Instead, they sent all candidates a series of seven questions dealing with neighborhood issues and published the responses at their website.  The following link will take you to the questions, and clicking on an individual question will give you a page with all candidate responses:
